A marked answer is one Writing or Speaking homework answer. Reading and Listening practice is not counted. IELTS Prep Studio is not registered for UK VAT, so no VAT is added to these prices.
What we will and will not do
- Your learners' work and data belong to you. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.
- Bands are estimates for practice. We never present them as official IELTS results or promise any band.
- Directory positions cannot be bought, and reviews will come only from learners with a recorded enrolment.
- We publish how marking works, and will publish how closely it agrees with teachers.
Questions teachers ask
How is homework marked?
Our own software measures each answer against the four public band descriptors: task coverage, organisation, vocabulary and grammar. It gives an estimated band range with the learner's errors quoted and corrected. It does not use any outside AI service. You make the final call on every band, and learners see your review.
How accurate are the bands?
They are estimates for practice, not official results, and we show them as a range. Our methodology page explains what is measured and what the software cannot judge, such as how convincing an argument is. We are checking the bands against teachers' marks and will publish the results there.
Who owns my learners' data?
You do. We process it only to run your workspace. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can choose whether reviewed answers, without names or text, help us check the marking.
Does it replace Zoom or Google Meet?
No. Add your existing live-class link to each group, and learners join from their workspace.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Choose the plan that fits the number of teachers and learners you have. If you do not choose one, your workspace pauses; nothing is deleted.
Do you take a commission on enquiries?
No. Enquiries from your website and from your directory listing are yours, at no extra cost.
